Half Black Pastel Guppies have a half black body and any other solid pastel colored tail except yellow. Most fancy show guppies that are labeled Half Black Pastel are white pastel colored fish. The type of food fed to guppies can affect their color and this is especially true with the Half Black White Pastel guppy. The pure white color of their tails are definitely effected by the food they eat. 8. TYPES OF FISH GUPPY SUPER RED SINGAPORE

A rare Japanese strain called a blue variegated cobra, known globally as a galaxy blue glass guppy, garnished fourth place in the recent World Guppy Contest. This rare blue glass has tremendous potential with exceptionally good finnage and form. Another uncommonly rare guppy type, the dwarf blue panda has recently become more readily available, but is still difficult to find. Guppies from the snakeskin class produce some of the most rare offspring. Fish who carry the snakeskin genetic trait, and show a rosette pattern on the body, are exceptional. A solid blue tail snakeskin would be an example of a rare fish, a matching dorsal and tail color, is rarer still.
Keeping fish looks very easy, and it is but we are taking the fish out of their natural environment, so we have to re-create that area for them to live a health life. The water has to be kept clean with the correct filtration and the right temperature has to be kept. The choice isn’t so important for the adult guppy, but for the fry however the filtration is a very much different. The guide explains why a sponge type filtration is the best rather than others. The Half Black Pastel has the half black body with any pastel solid colored tail except for yellow. They often resemble the original, wild guppy. However, many feeder guppies are culls -- fish rejected for selective breeding. This gives some feeder guppies bright colors and patterns more like fancy guppies.Adding the wrong type of fish that isn’t compatible tank mates with Guppies will no doubt add inevitable stress to your Guppy fish’s health. Just imagine being chased by someone constantly for a bite. So picking the right tank mates with your Guppies is important, as the less stress your fish has, the more likely they are to thrive.
