will fantail goldfish get along with white cloud mountain minnows in a 10 gallon tank?

Hi, I got 8 white cloud mountain minnows from Petco a few days ago. The saleswoman told me since they are cold water they could go in with my goldfish. I keep the tank very clean with regular changes.
wouldn't be suitable for goldfish, again though, but you could get a decent shoal of white clouds in there, or zebras.
