In Oak Island for the weekend and we decided to head to Southport for dinner - the wait time at Fishy Fishy was less so we set our sights there. It was a good pick - nice views of the water, our server was a sweetheart - very attentive and took great care of us, food and drinks were good... General Fishyfish and Board Announcements

Not the best seafood we've ever eaten, but decor was beachy and the beer cold (even though the didn't have my first choice). The Brunswick clams were excellent but the fish in the fish and chips basket was much too fishy for our liking plus the jalapeno hush puppies were quite doughy. Best friends and sunshine made it worth the...I take notes on my visits to Fishy Fishy and each of the four meals I have had in the past three months have been very good. I have enjoyed the: Baha tuna, seared crab sandwich, Paradise cheeseburger, fried oysters, shrimp and scallops. I always order the crab dip. They make their own tarter sauce, cole slaw, and crab dip....
