If you are a beginner in the world of fishkeeping, and you are wondering, “Where do I even start?” – fear not, many a hobbyist (who started off just as clueless as any beginner) has mustered up the will to create and support a beautiful aquatic display to enhance the visual appearance of a living space. It is understandable that you might be a little overwhelmed at first, with the limitless access to information out there, and countless opinions that all differ from one another, it is very hard to determine where the best place to start is. The good news is that you have nothing to worry about; there is a reason why 13.6 million homes in the U.S. keep beautiful aquatic displays filled with happy fish, and you can do it with one of the 3 gallon aquariums. It's a good idea to have in mind what kind of freshwater aquarium fish you want to keep in your freshwater aquarium setup before you purchase an aquarium. Some fish only grow to be an inch or two, whereas other types of tropical fish can grow 12 or 13 inches or more in length! Knowing what kind of fish you want will help you decide the size of the tank they will need. If this is your first time with an aquarium, it may be a good idea to start with a 10 or 20 gallon aquarium setup for now and stock it with some smaller and hardier species.Aquaview 360 3 gallon aquarium vs tetra cube 3 gallon aquarium.

DO not buy this tank ( aquaview 360 ! ) The led lights burned out in about a month. the lights are situated where moisture and condensation can get to them causing the housing screws to rust and let water in. the tank is also hard to clean because the HUGE filter tube is right in the middle. Inevitably the fish hide behind there and around the curve to where you can't enjoy them. The worst part is trying to get replacement parts. the sent an order form along with the aquarium but everything is so expensive.$7.95 for the light but $6.95 to ship ( c'mon man ). Good luck calling, they never answer there phone and NEVER return calls. On the upside it makes a pretty cool terrarium for exotic plants now ( which is why i gave it two stars instead of one ;) ) I suggest buying the Tetra Cube 3 gallon for the same price. The lighting is better and easier to clean. It has a real filter and not a bubblestone which caused too much disruption for my betta. I find it the perfect size for him, He seems really happy, but then again I am no betta mind reader. If you have a betta in mind then the Tetra tank is the way to go IMHO. It's the same price too! Don't make the mistake i did. And remember, these are acrylic tanks and will scratch EASY. be careful when cleaning...very careful.heres a personal review on the 360 view 3 gallon aquarium kit, it comes with a filter, led color changing lights and a small pack of tropical fish flakes. over all a good fish tank.I'm pretty experienced with freshwater aquariums, but I would like to set up a small 3-gallon nano saltwater aquarium to keep a few corals, a shrimp, and one fish.
